Celebrate Earth Week with MATBUS!

From Monday, April 22 to Saturday, April 27, you can ride MATBUS fixed route vehicles for FREE when you recycle one empty aluminum can on the bus. When you board, just show the driver your recyclable can, then place it in the recycling bin at the front of the bus.

At the end of Earth Week, all the collected cans will be recycled. The proceeds from recycling will be donated to the Homeward Animal Shelter.

This promotion is not valid on MAT Paratransit.

Celtic Festival at the Hjemkomst Center - Saturday, March 16, 2024

LinkFM event service will be operating on Saturday, March 16, 9:30am to 4:30pm, during the Celtic Festival at the Hjemkomst Center. Enjoy the intriguing history, arts, and tradition of Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galcia, Ireland, Scotland and Wales at the annual Celtic Festival. This FREE route will be on detour due to the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and will operate through the Moorhead Center Mall Parking lot and the Fargo City Hall parking lot.

Each event bus stop will be marked by a pink LinkFM sign. Once you've arrived at a bus stop location, simply wait by the sign until the bus arrives. The digital sign above the bus's windshield will say LinkFM.

Due to some weather damage Trollwood experienced, a couple of dates have been moved around. MATBUS will still run for all of the performances.

The LinkFM event shuttle will be running for the 2023 Trollwood musical, "Singin' in the Rain" at Bluestem, for fast and FREE transportation to the event.

Attendees can park in the Azool Hornbacher's parking lot, and buses will pick up at the MATBUS shelter on 40th Ave S. Look for the pink LinkFM sign. They will be dropped off at the Bluestem main entrance.

MATBUS is offering free rides to and from the polls on Election Day -- November 8, 2022. When boarding the bus, riders just need to tell the driver they are going to/from a polling location. Rides are also free to and from polling sites when taking MAT Paratransit. When scheduling a ride, Paratransit riders should tell the dispatcher that they are using the ride to vote. These free rides are valid only on November 8, 2022.

At the end of Earth Week, all the collected cans will be recycled. The proceeds from recycling will be donated to the Homeward Animal Shelter.

Starting Saturday, April 4, 2020, MATBUS bill begin operating its downtown hub at a new temporary location – the former Fargo Cass Public Health building at 401 3rd Ave. N.

The current Ground Transportation Center (502 NP Ave.) will then begin a major construction project. This project will update the building and its parking lot. Jefferson Lines will also move to the new hub location.

Relocating during construction will allow the project to be finished much faster than if operations stayed in the building. The MATBUS downtown hub is expected to return to the GTC by the end of August 2020, with full project completion by October 2020.

Attendees are asked to park in the Axis Clinicals parking lot. MATBUS will be running a bus that takes riders between the Axis lot and the Dilworth Community Center. This route will be running 5:15-6:15pm, and 7:30-8:15pm. There will be volunteers and signage showing where the bus will be picking up riders in both locations.

This bus route is FREE and open to all members of the public, whether or not they attend the event. This route will only have two stops - the Axis parking lot and the Dilworth Community Center.

Fargo Downtown Community Partnership, City of Fargo, City of Moorhead and Jefferson Lines are hosting this years parade. LinkFM will be available to all attendees before and after the event. LinkFM will begin service an hour early at 9:00 a.m., then suspend service during the parade (11:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m.).

Parking:
Parade attendees are encouraged to utilize LinkFM before and after the parade. Parking will be available at the Moorhead Center Mall to shuttle attendees to and from downtown for the parade. LinkFM will not be serving the shelter at the Moorhead Center Mall until after the parade, due to parade lineup using that space.

There will be three temporary bus stops around the mall to give attendees faster access to parking areas. These temporary stops will be on the north and south side of the parking ramp, and next to Everest Tikka House. Look for the LinkFM pink bus stop signs!

bicycle and pedestrian generators including schools and

this study is to understand the current and long-term vision of
