How to Ride MATBUS

This page is designed to provide you with all the basic information you need for your next trip on MATBUS. Our Dispatch Team Members are available to provide you with additional assistance. You can reach them at 701.232.7500.

Hours of operation: MATBUS' Ground Transportation Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:15 p.m., and from 7:00 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. on Saturday. Our evening routes run until 10:15 p.m.  We are closed on major holidays; see our calendar for details.

Guaranteed Ride Home Program
If you need to leave work early due to an emergency or have to work unscheduled overtime, the cost of transportation may be eligible for reimbursement by the Guaranteed Ride Home Program. The program reimburses you up to $15 per trip, two times per year, when certain transportation emergencies occur. To be eligible, you must currently be riding MATBUS with an unlimited "Monthly Pass" or be in a registered car pool. To apply for the Guaranteed Ride Home Program, just call MATBUS at 701.232.7500.
