Effective December 1, 2017, Route 24 will turn north on 4th St E instead of 6th St E.
MATBUS implemented several route changes on July 1, 2017. Included in those changes was the creation of Route 24, which serves the new Sanford Medical Center and various locations in West Fargo. The route was created through our Transit Development Plan (TDP) study.
Shortly after implementation, requests were made by the neighborhood along 6th St E in West Fargo to change the route path to take 4th St E instead. MATBUS staff documented all comments provided by the neighborhood and provided them to West Fargo Planner, Larry Weil.
West Fargo City Commission and the Fargo City Commission approved the route change, which is to go into effect as of December 1, 2017.
